Holder of Document: All primary documents on the selection and measurements of logging areas, including field outlines of logging sites, information on lists of trees that have been felled, information on the material and monetary assessment of logging sites, acts of designation of logging sites for logging, are stored in offices of forestry units of the FMEs. The records of the inventory of allotment and mensuration of harvest area can be found at the Forestry Department of the FME. In the year preceding the year of the start of felling, but no later than October 1, FME present to loggers the allocated harvesting areas with a records of the inventory of allotment and mensuration of harvest area for preliminary transfer. 

Signature required by:
The field list of trees designated for felling is signed by the head of the Division for the selection and measurement of forest harvesting areas and the specialists who completed the field list of trees measurement.

A package of documents for the right to carry out felling on the territory of a logging plot, these are: logging ticket, records of inspection and inventory of allotment and mensuration of harvest area material and monetary assessment of logging, technological map of logging, record book of harvested timber products, etc.). Therefore, correspondence of data (compartment, area, species, harvested wood volume) should be checked.

Purpose and content of document:
The inspection and inventory of allotment and mensuration of harvest area consists in determining the total stock of wood intended for felling, dividing it into the business part, technological, fuel wood and residuals, as well as the division of timber into size categories and timber assortments. In addition, during the material evaluation of forest harvests, the average volume of tree whip is calculated. Calculations are carried out for each plot within the forest line, and if there are several measurement divisions on the plot - for each of them.

Evidence limitations and weaknesses:
The calculation of the material assessment (inspection and inventory of allotment and mensuration of harvest area) Is performed on the basis of data from the field list information. In particular, all data are transferred to the list and evaluation list by species, degrees of thickness and categories of technical suitability. If some violations happened during the field inventory they cannot be identified in documents after harvesting is done.
